how can I download a DVD to my MacBook Pro

Thanks for your response. I performed on stage at our Sun City community and they recorded the performance. I purchased copies of the DVD they were selling but I didn't realize that it would be copywrited. I didn't see any such marks on the DVD label. Your response solves the issue. Thank you!
