I have always been able to print but after the last update last week, format has changed and am unable to print.

Thank you for this additional information. Can you please elaborate more on what you mean by "the format changed"?
When I want to print an email, I click on the forward arrow at bottom of screen. There is no print available. Before iPad was upgraded last week, the forward button was at top of screen and I could advance it to an icon to print. This is no longer available.
