There is no audio when I video capture using Quicktime. Any idea?

screen capture, no audio Hi, I am sorry if this has been answered already, but I couldn't find one. When taking a screen capture video the sound is not being record. I cannot find the setting to include system audio. Why is this? I have to resort to using Zoom so I can screen capture a video with sound from say a few clips I have laid out on my desktop. Or is there a work-around? thanks, S

Audio is captured from the microphone as set using the drop-down menu from the small triangle/down-arrow next to the record button. ‘None’ may be default, so set it to some other setting when needed.
