iphone disabled

My daughter has the iPhone 6s and it says her iPhone is disabled to connect to iTunes. When I go to iTunes and connect the phone to the computer nothing happens. What can I do?

Does the computer's iTunes recognise the phone : If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support ?
