stabilize part of a clip

I'm new to Final Cut Pro. I'm trying to stabilize the first part of a clip, but leave the rest unstabilized. I split the clip into two and stabilized the first part. The problem is, that there's a little jump in the transition from the first part of the clip to the second. I tried to fix this with keyframing, but found that key framing is not available for stabilization. Is there a way to smoothly transition from the first, stabilized part of my clip to the second, unstabilized part?

I think I figured it out. Right after I split the clip, I did a keyframe and zoomed in and changed the anchor points too so that after the split, the image was pretty close to where it was before the split. A second or so later I have another keyframe to return the clip to 100% zoom. It looks almost perfect now. Thanks for the help!
