What exactly is a "Purchased File" KIND in Apple Music?

I have 500+ songs in my library that show under the KIND heading as Purchased. They are m4a as opposed to mp3. Can I move these to a different library? If I discontinue Apple Music, where do these files end up? Do I lose them entirely?

It means they are items purchased from the iTunes Store, after Apple stopped added DRM protection to music purchases, and they are not Apple Music content which shows differently. Your purchases won't be removed or disabled if you stop your Apple Music subscription.
