Family sharing -deleting apps

How do I delete apps on a phone set up to family sharing, to free up storage?

Thanks in advance

You have to do it directly on the phone on which you need more storage. Hold down on the app icon until it wiggles, then tap the X on the corner of the icon to delete the app. You can offload the app and retain the app data if you would rather do that. Go to Settings>General>iPhone Storage? Find the app in the list, tap on it and offload it in the next screen.
