Using three apple watches, two people, one Apple ID

I have the original apple watch. I just bought my wife and I matching Series 4 watches. Can I use all three of these watches on one Apple ID?

You can, but Apple IDs aren't meant to be shared. All your data will be combined to include Contacts, Messages, FaceTime, and other information.
