Tahoe 26.2 interface hard to figure out, prefer the prior version.

can the recent updated OS Tahoe 26.2 interface be reset to be like it was before Tahoe 26? Some people in this house hold are having trouble figuring out what to do .... on iPad, iPhone & MBP.

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 26

iPad and iPhone cannot be downgraded to prior iOS versions. Full stop.

Downgrading the Mac to a previous macOS version is a major undertaking requiring making a clone backup or having a Time Machine backup made prior to the upgrade to Tahoe. Then wiping the internal drive and reinstalling the older maOS version. Then recovering your files from your backup drive. It's difficult, dangerous and very often very frustrating.

Best to play through the pain, so to speak, and push forward with the new Tahoe OS.

Yes, some things are different, but it's still a Mac.

The interface functions did not really change locations or operation. Tahoe made them transparent as per the Liquid Glass design, but that's pretty much it.

Functions are still generally in the same place and do mostly the same things as before on Sequoia 15, or iOS and iPadOS 18.

What trouble are people in that household having with it exactly?

The user guides are good source of information if something has changed or is different.
