Preview App: Images not showing in PDFs

Preview App v11.0 on MacOS 14.7.2 does not display some images in PDF document.

I have a user manual for a camera (PDF format), and when I use the Preview App v11.0 on Mac OS 14.7.2, some images are missing.

If I view the same PDF using the Preview App v10.1 on Mac OS 10.14.6, there is no problem - all images are displayed.

I have included screenshots showing the issue.

The PDF is OK when viewed with other PDF readers, like Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Update Sonoma to 14.8.3. Verify that has resolved, or did not resolve viewing the same PDF with images in Preview after the update.
