2024 MacBook Pro Messages app crashes with Tahoe 26.2

Using Tahoe 26.2, my 2024 MacBook Pro crashes the Messages app, but only viewing some messages. I've tried to clear the cache. turned the device on/off but still crashes. (It send a report to Apple) then click to restart. Any ideas?
