Apple Mail WE HAVE a PROBLEM.

Replicated this error on both an Apple Silicon Mac Studio and an iPad running the latest iOS26

When you embed an image in Apple Mail. It is stripped out of your SENT/and InBOX message. All settings have been adjusted with Rich/HTML test enabled. This is ridiculous for something so simple to STILL be a bug as I have read forums forum from years ago.

WHY DO WE PAY SO MUCH FOR BUGGY SOFTWARE!!!

Thanks for your smug response… Obviously, everyone knows the hardware subsidizes the software, but that’s not the point

I figured out what the issue was

Mail privacy settings have to be turned off.

There’s a major bug with the software that’s all over the Internet.

Neither the macOS nor the iOS Mail client is doing that. Please read Use plain or rich text in emails in Mail on Mac - Apple Support.

Well first of all your not paying for it, since the Apple OS's are free. It's the device that is costing you.

If you sent a email to someone else and the Rich Text mails were stripped of the coding when the other person opened the email up, I would suggest that you get the recipient to check their settings on their mail client. Not al email clients are the same or the servers that houses their email.
