Mail crashes when exporting Smart Mailbox

MacBook Air M2 15" with macOS Tahoe 26.2: Mail crashes under export of a single Smart Mail Box to an external drive. As soon as I click Export it crashes instantly. Any suggestions to fix this will make my day - Thank You kindly!
