New Apple ID password not accepted on iMac for iOS update
I have updated my Apple password, which works on Iphone and ipad. but on Imac it is not accepted when trying to install IOS update.
iMac 24″, macOS 26.1
Have you tried restarting your computer?
You are signed into an account on the computer that is the same one that you are using on the other devices?
If there's an error message, it helps a lot to include those when you ask a question here.
By the way, Macs run macOS, not iOS.
