Delay with airplay when MacBook is closed

What physical position are you leaving your closed MacBook Pro in, exactly?

Recent Macs have their antennas for WiFi and Bluetooth near the rear exhaust area, around the hinge. You may get better results if you place the machine with that end UP.

Be sure that you do not block the rear air exit, or the side air intakes while experimenting, or your MacBook Pro could overheat.
