display sleeping with safari in full screen.

iMac 2019 27 inch. macOS Sequoia.

after updating to safari 26.2, I am having an issue with my display sleeping after ten minutes even though I am in full screen mode. this is a new issue. previously when I was streaming safari in full screen mode, the display would not sleep. but now it does. I have been through the system settings and toggled the applicable options off and on again, but it is still happening.

this is only affecting safari. it is not happening in Firefox. it is not happening with QuickTime Player. and it is not happening with DVD Player.

so before I install Caffeine, is there a new setting within safari that I am missing?
