If so, it says it's compatible with Macs running a variety of macOS versions. So it should be compatible.

What MacBook Air exactly?

What macOS version is it running? Is it one of the supported versions in the website above?

how is art hard to use? What issues are you having? Having a hard time using it does not imply incompatibility.

Incompatibility presents itself usually with the app not working, opening or in many cases not even being able to install it.

If you could install it and run it, then it's generally compatible.

There is an application called "The Print Shop for MAC [sic]".

The developer claims that it runs on Sequoia (the version of macOS shown in your tag line). That means that it should be compatible – and your post seems to indicate that you have actually been running it.

However, "compatible" is not the same thing as "well-designed" or "easy to use". Some applications which are "compatible" are poorly-designed, or were ported over from a different platform (like Windows) with no thought taken to integrating well with Macs.

I have not used the current version of this product and cannot say what is the case.
