iPhone screen dims and goes dark before the auto lock time
Despite setting auto lock for 2 minutes why does it dim and go dark much earlier? I've tried most everything.

If you are on the Lock Screen, it will override that setting and automatically turn off in 10 seconds. Or on the other hand if you have Low Power Mode enabled, it will also override and set it to 30 seconds.
Also, is it dimming or turning off fully? Dimming can occur for many more reasons, such as the device overheating or the ambient lighting and is not related to the Auto-Lock setting.
