Lag when deleted recent app IOS 26.2

After the iOS 26.2 update, are you still experiencing bugs?

I'm experiencing a glitch when trying to remove recent apps, similar to the previous iOS 26 bug: lag and stuttering when deleting apps.

Couldn't really tell from your video the swipe movement, but if the speed and distance of the gesture is not recognized as a Swipe, it will just be the Move gesture and that will snap back the app when you let go, like it appears to do in your video.

Is it possible you made some adjustments to the Swipe Gesture at Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Touch Accommodations? If it is turned On, try shutting it Off so the default options will be used.

You are in low power mode and that reduces the frame rate and visual effects that you normally see. While I very rarely force close an app because it requires more battery power to launch it again, I did just now and there was no lag for me using iOS 26.2.

It seems to work and the reasoning makes sense to me, but the effect is not immediate, I need to restart the volume up, down & power and then let it sit for 5 minutes for it to work.

Hmm, I've tried turning off power saving mode and then back on, but the problem remains. By the way, I'm using version 15 basic, and the hardware should still be sufficient.
