How do I transfer funds from Apple Pay to Apple Wallet?

I didn’t know Apple Pay and Apple wallet were 2 separated things I put money into Apple pay and now I don’t know how to get it out I wanted to buy a gift card to send on one, but I can’t do that. I don’t know what to do. Can somebody help me?
