My new email password isn’t working.

i just transferred from an Samsung to an iPhone and it’s been good but when I moved to iPhone I changed my email password on the iPhone and now when I try to put in my new password on apps like Spotify and Gmail and other apps it says wrong password even thought I know a 100% that it’s right I think that it wants my old password but idk it and on my Samsung that I gave to my dad he asked me to put in the new password so he could log out but when I put it on it says wrong password I if anyone can help me pls reply
