Ringtone vs alarm clock volume setting

how is it possible that I can’t set the volume for my alarm clock and ringtone differently? This has been a basic setting on android at least for the last 15 years! Am I the only apple user that hates being cruelly woken up by a blaring alarm clock only because I set my ringtone volume higher in a noisy place the day before?
