Air pod pro mic not working during phone calls and voice memo

My air pod pros microphone doesn’t work during phone calls. I’ve went under Bluetooth to change the mic settings and though it fixes it sometimes. It still goes back to being blocked. When I record voice memos there is no sound at all. I’ve factory reset the air pods and it worked for a little bit but back to the problem. I’ve forgot them under Bluetooth and reconnected and it still didn’t work. The firm ware is up to date. I recently got an iPhone 17 pro from being on 13. The problem only started a few weeks ago and it’s followed me to the new device as well. I have no idea how to permanently fix the issue. When I do go to microphone setting a few times it’s been changed from automatic to left/right ear. I’ve cleaned the AirPods. Replaced the removable buds in case of debris and the issue still persists. I can hear music just fine and I can hear others. It’s just they cannot hear me or say I sound muffed. When I pull up the voice setting during a call from auto to voice isolation I can see there is nothing coming from the mic but when I put on speaker or the phone itself I can see there is volume from the mic coming in.

Any solutions would be greatly appreciated
