How can I confirm if I'm blocked on an iPhone despite blue text and 'Delivered' status?

Is it true for all iPhones you won’t know if your blocked bc text will still be blue and says delivered? Example: I have iPhone 12 person who think blocked me has iPhone 14. Text still is blue and says delivered.
