Laptop account locked after password reset

I was having trouble logging onto my laptop so I had to reset my password and they made me wait seven days today. I got the OK to reset everything and I did but when I went to my laptop to get on it again, it told me that my account is locked. Try again in one hour. What am I doing wrong? I don’t wanna wait another seven days if I put it in too many times.
