iCloud files does not sync on MacBook

hello,

I have a MacBook Air and a windows computer at work that I use icloud for windows app to sync all my files. my problem is lately my flies does not downloaded to my MacBook. I do my work at work while using iCloud for windows ad without a problem all the files sync on iCloud. But when I come home and open my Mac it does not sync. I have tried logging out and back in my iCloud id on my Mac, it did not work. Tried to download the files still didn't help. Thanks for all the replies in advance.
