In-app purchase not recognized on iPhone 13 Pro Max after redownload

I use a iPhone13 pro max, currently on ios18.7.2.

I made a in app purchase in 2022, which grants the buyer lifelong use of the app. Recently I redownloaded the app, only to find the app doesn’t recognize my device made the purchase and now to get the premium feature I need to buy the in app purchase again. There is also no “restore purchase” button in the app. I have reported this problem to apple, but seems unfixable, and I cannot get the refund as the purchase was made too long ago.
