Apple invites - Can't create a shared photo album

Apple Invites - Cant create shared album. I'm trying to create an invite on Apple invites. Doing it through the app. Have tried on both my iPhone (iPhone 16 pro) and latest gen iPad. Both are up to date on software ( 26.1 for iPad and latest version for iPhone as well) and using latest version of app (1.6, from a month ago).

So first glitch: You cannot create a shared photo album if you don't give FULL access in the app settings to your photos. I tried with "Limited access" and I cant create a shared album. Only when I change to "Full access" does the option to "Create Album" appear. That is dreadful. 2nd thing: When you then click on "Create Album", it spins forever. 10 minutes later and it's still spinning. Tried on both my iPhone and iPad. Rebooted both and tried again. Same thing. This is unacceptable for using recent Apple devices with the latest OS and for a product that came out quite some time ago and has had multiple updates.

Okay, I don't see a delete button here, but tried to remove the post. Tried this again the next morning. It works now. No user error. Literally did everything the same. Only difference was my phone slept overnight! A mystery.

Ok, hold on though. Just grabbed iPad and tried on there. Still a glitch! Just went into my iPad (A16). Opened invites and took a look at the invite I just created on iPhone about 10 minutes ago. The new invite I created on iPhone 10 minutes ago is there...but the shared album is not! Created a new invite on iPad, and still cant add shared album there! So it worked on my phone this morning...but still not working on iPad. Clearly this is a very unique glitch. If anyone else encountering this, chime in. But there is no user error here with steps to fix it. Obviously the "shared albums" is the weak spot with this app. Very glitchy.
