Live translation missing from Translate app on iPad

do supported iPads have live translation? There is no live button in the Translate app.

People take iPads to lots of places, including "these places." If people think it makes sense to use them as cameras, it's quite likely they will also find them useful for translation.

I mean, I’d want this too so I don’t have to buy a new iPhone… but you know Apple will take that feedback and treat it as validation for forcing the upgrade use case.

It would be nice, but I get the feeling they’re just trying to push us toward a newer iPhone. Even if they could include it, why would they? Most real-world use cases won’t involve someone lugging around a huge device just to do live translation. It would be great for comedy shows while traveling in the supported language countries, but who would take an Ipad with them to these places?
