ORGANIZER NAME in MY ACCOUNT IS MY SPOUSES NOT MINE. NEED TO CHANGE THAT

Why is my spouses name the organizer on my iPhone which is in my name and my account? We each have separate IDs, user names and passwords, and in other words everything is assigned to us individually. My iphone is in my account and under my name. I do have family sharing but that is simply to give all of us access to 'FIND MY". How can I remove my spouse's name as organizer

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 26

  • There is no need to use Family Sharing to share Find My locations of others.
  • When Family Sharing is set up, there is one Organizer to the plan.
  • You can remove yourself from the Family Sharing plan, or disband the group and set it up again with you as the Organizer.
