VIP emails go to junk on iPhone and iPad

Why are emails from VIP going to junk mail on my iPhone and iPad? I’ve searched and don’t find any junk mail settings.

iPhone 17 Pro Max, iOS 26

Mark the Emails as "Not Junk" (Train the App)

The most direct fix is to manually move the emails back to your Inbox. This teaches the Apple Mail app (and potentially your email provider's server) that this sender is legitimate.

  • Open the Mail app.
  • Go to the Junk folder.
  • Select the email(s) that were incorrectly marked as junk.
  • Tap the Move to Folder icon (it looks like a folder).
  • Select Inbox.

You may need to repeat this a few times for the app to learn
