Cannot receive emails sent to my own Gmail address

I switched emails to gmail and on both my Macbook pro and IPhone 16 pro. I also upgraded to Tahoe 26.1 on my Macbook Pro. My email works fine on both the laptop and phone meaning I can send and receive just fine, with one exception.

If I send a message to myself. From my gmail email address to the same address. The email sends fine, but it is never received. I can send the same message to my wife's gmail email account and she will receive it and can then forward it to me, which I will receive.

I like to take pictures from my phone and email them to myself so I can see them at home on my laptop. Why does everything work fine unless I send myself and email??

Not sure what else I can suggest to you. You could try to creating another email address in Gmail and test that against your present email address. If it works it would probably be a misconfiguration on Gmail servers, which I highly doubt. I wiuld also try sending your self a email with attachment but not one that is on Dropbox, but from your Mac.
