After implementing the last Apple update i am no longer receiving authentication codes from various sites using two-factor authentication. How do i fix this?

Two-factor codes usually stop due to SMS filtering, carrier short-code blocks, notification settings, authenticator permissions. Try disabling message filters, checking Unknown Senders, enabling notification permissions, and resetting network settings. Your Apple ID cannot block 2FA — this is usually a messaging or carrier routing issue.

Things to try (and how):
Restart your iPhone. This can sometimes clear up issues.
If no messages are being received, check you don't have Airplane Mode enabled.
Try turning Messages off and then on again. Settings > Apps > Messages

It is also possible that your carrier has blocked messages from sources that use what is known as a short code to identify the source instead of a full number. This is an anti-spam measure and can either be resolved by a better behaved source, or asking your carrier to disable this filtering for you.
