Predictive typing issues

Predictive typing is a mess in iOS 26 on m4 iPad Pro with the apple Magic Keyboard - it is so bad that when you are typing it will just repeat what you are typing like 10 times in a row which is a new bug. It appears that the predictive typing is getting in the way of the typing …. ? I turned ‘show predictions in line’ off under keyboard and it fixed the problem. It was almost like you were holding down several keys at a time and the letters would just race across the screen with predictive text suggestions flashing by. I feel like i am back on my window 95 machine, well not that bad, which is what pushed me over to the apple eco system. In 28 years of being an apple user, for the first time i find my self loathing my iPhone and the iOS updates.
