Apple watch updated to iOS 26.1 will not charge.

We have two apple watches, both series 6. We've had no issues until updating to iOS 26.1. Now, neither watch will charge; in fact, they don't even show a charging symbol. I cleaned both watches and all four of the apple chargers we have and have verified the outlets are working. Any thoughts as to why neither watch stopped recognizing a charger after updating to 26.1? Both watches are completely dead.
