Scam text message about unrecognized Apple ID activity
I received a text message this morning that I assumed to be a scam. It said the following:

🚨 Urgent Alert — Unrecognized Apple ID Activity Detected
Dear Customer,
Your Apple ID was used in a way that does not match your normal activity patterns. For security reasons, we require you to review the flagged action below and confirm its legitimacy to ensure your account remains protected.
Activity Logged:
• Charge Attempt: $143.95
• Origin Location: Apple Store (California)
• Action Recorded: Attempt to configure Apple Pay
If this action was performed without your knowledge, please contact Apple Support immediately at +185&******0195

the text message was from “zoil******uorui.appleaccount.com” which was a red flag for me but it was well written talking about support and how to identify scams. I assume it’s all an engineered phishing scam as I couldn’t find the number provided and the message did not identify any personal information about my account. The message was very vague. Just wanted to share as I could see someone easily falling for this one. I blocked, deleted and reported it.
