Several Music app issues on macOS Tahoe

I'd like to ask the community if the same issue happens in Apple Music running on macOS Tahoe: whenever I remove the next song on the queue in "My Station" (station curated for me, e.g. [your name]'s Station) the queue will be left empty. The app just doesn't load a next song that suits me or that's within my listening history.

I tried this on my iPhone, and the app immediately loads a next song.

Seems like macOS Tahoe kind of bricked Apple Music.

In any case, I'd like to ask the community if there's a technical fix for this.

I tried clearing up the caches and preferences via ~Library/Caches and ~Library/ Preferences, respectively.

Also, there's a prevalent issue that whenever I quit Apple Music, the app automatically re-opens but stays hidden. I was able to determine this as soon as I quit the app, the dock logo bounces and the dot indicator at the bottom of the app appears.

I just noticed some issues with Music on my macOS Tahoe, also. I searched on an artists name in my library, and opened the list of songs that resulted so that I could highlight/drag them into a playlist I created. Music will not allow me to highlight any of the listed songs, let alone drag them.

Seems to me that Music has become less intuitive and more buggy with time, which is unfortunate since going for a third party music app will lost the automatic integration in the Apple ecosystem and devices.

But....eventually if Music doesn't deliver reliably, that's what I'll have to do, and I probably won't be alone.

Hope they pay attention to the usability of the OS and apps in their quest to turn it into an iOS clone.

I had a similar issue with macOS Tahoe. The solution here is to sign out of your Apple Account in the Music app (or iTunes for Windows and older macOS versions). See my User Tip: Fixing the Music App Stalled in a “Playing Next Loop” - Apple Community
