MacBook and iPhone not receiving Xfinity email

My mac book and i phone are nnot receiving e-mail. I have xfinity comcast as my e-mail provider

Your Comcast/Xfinity email stopped working on Mac and iPhone because Comcast now requires App Passwords and updated IMAP/SMTP security settings. Fix:

  1. Generate an App Password
  2. Update the IMAP/SMTP settings
  3. Re-add the account if needed
  4. Confirm no security blocks on Comcast’s website

This resolves the issue for almost all Comcast users on Apple devices.
