Why can't I automate in Logic?

I am unable to automate my projects. I was able to until very recently. Now when I try, it assigns random automation points that I did not assign and does not let me move any of my automation. I have tried resetting custom settings and working in different projects. I don't understand what's happening. Here is a video of the problem
