IOS 26.1 degrades Mail & Notes

ipad ios 26.1 degrades Mail & Notes screens. When will this be fixed?

Since upgrading to iPad OS 26.1 both MAIL and NOTES refuse to swipe away the Inbox / list of notes.

So 25% of the screen is gone and purpose content reduced.

I’m disappointed Apple released this kind of blatant performance degradation for we who still read and note facts, etc.

Urgent fix please!

although TBH, I personally find the new version to be a considerable improvement.

Otherwise, since this is a user-to-user support forum and you are NOT addressing Apple or anyone who can give you an “Urgent fix” 🙄, you can offer Apple feedback here: Product Feedback - Apple
