Text leans to the left in Apple Notes after updating to IPadOS 26.1

I recently updated the M2 version of IPad Pro to IpadOS 26.1 and encountered a certain problem in that when I use apple notes, one of my most used applications, the text appears to “lean left as shown in the image below:

This is quite annoying as it is just not an optimal way for text to be placed, so I would like to try to fix this so the text can actually cross into the right half of the screen, so far I tried hard rebooting, restarting and resetting all settings in my IPad as well as reinstalling Notes, none of which fixed the problem. If anyone has a fix or explanation for what is going on I would really appreciate it.

I said I don't know of a way to fix it. Perhaps there is and I just couldn't find it. And, really, it's a lot less than "half the screen."
