how to login without any 2fa info

I have a family member who had their ipad break recently, apple store says it is a motherboard issue and is too old to replace.

The problem is we got a new ipad but was locked out of their account as we forgot the password, now we remember the password but its asking for 2fa which we no longer have access to, nor do we remember the old phone numbers linked to it, that was her only apple device. Is there anything else we can do to log into her account?

If you find you can’t sign in, reset your password, or receive verification codes, you can request account recovery (get Apple’s own instructions in this article: How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple Account password - Apple Support ) to regain access to your account. Account recovery might take a few days or longer, depending on the specific account information you can provide to verify your identity. One tip to using account recovery it to look for options in small blue letters beneath the normal log-in items if you cannot complete the requested information.

If you don’t have access to either your trusted devices or your trusted phone number, you can still attempt to recover access to your account.

  1. Try to sign in to your Apple Account at https://account.apple.com
  2. Select “Didn’t Get a Code?” or “Can’t get to your devices?” on the verification code screen.
  3. Choose “Can’t use [phone number]”.
  4. If you don’t have access to any trusted phone number on file with your Apple Account, you can initiate the process to recover access to your account. Follow the onscreen steps.

Account recovery might take a few days or longer, depending on the specific account information you can provide to verify your identity. Contacting Apple can’t help speed up the process.
