Apple TV 4K updated automatically

I keep automatic updates off, but Apple TV updated anyway.

I have an AppleTV 4K and I specifically keep automatic updates switched off on all my devices. The Apple TV was okay the day before, but when I switched it on last night it was updated to tvOS 26, and Automatic updates was switched on. There is no doubt that I nor my wife turned this on. How did this happen?
