Problem with Display automatically dimming down to nothing
The screen on my M1 Macbook air (c2020) keeps turning itself off ... I have another monitor attached and that stays at full brightness - but I can't figure out why the built in screen on the macbook air keeps diminishing ...
I have AUTOMATICALLY ADJUST BRIGHTNESS turned off!
darned annoying! Does anybody have a suggestion? Grateful for all feedback!

Have a look at your battery settings : Change Battery settings on a Mac laptop - Apple Support (IE)
Additional Options:
Option: Slightly dim the display on battery = Conserve energy by dimming the display when your Mac is not plugged in.

I should have mentioned, this is not while using the battery—this is while the unit is connected to power.
In fact, I do NOT remember an incident of this occurring while I was using the battery (not connected to power).
let me look at those battery settings - thanks (but I wonder if they only apply when using the battery power) thanks!
