A. Restore from a Backup:

Have a backup that has this configuration working, of the same iOS (26)? If so, restore from it. If no backup was ever made, then take this as a learning experience every so often. That way, you can have something to restore it from, should anything go wrong, such as this.

i have an iPhone 14 and having the same problem. Shazam works so mic is ok. Nothing else works. Can’t even make phone calls. Turned off and on again. Gone through all apps ensuring mic is enabled. Nothing works.

My mom’s phone is having the same problem. I recorded a message using the voice memo, when replaying it there isn’t any sound but it will transcribe the message so I know the microphone is working. I’ve tried all the suggestions and nothing works.
