Still very frustrated with HEIC photos, looked at APPs and couldn't get them to work. Is there someone out there that can help me /guide me to a good method to convert my many HEIC photos to a format used by the rest of the world to a photo standard like jpeg, jpg, png etc.

There are many ways to convert heic to jpg... You will have to choose which works best for you.
Do an Internet search for "convert heic to jpg" in your browser.
Frustrated in what way?
I would like to have my photos in a jpeg format, but when I download them in PHOTOS in Microsoft, then appear as a HEIC format and I can’t do anything with them.
