Playlists Wiped After Signing Up for Apple Music

Hi there, I recently signed up for Apple Music for the very first time. As soon as I did, all of the songs in the playlists I’ve been building for years disappeared. I’m not sure if this is a syncing issue or if there’s a way to restore my old playlists, but I’d really appreciate any help or guidance on how to recover them. Thank you!

To fix it:

  1. Turn Sync Library OFF
  2. Turn it ON again and choose Merge
  3. Refresh Music app
  4. Restore from another device if available
  5. Contact Apple Support for an iCloud Music Library restore if needed

Your playlists are almost always recoverable.
