Wallet app chat not recognizing iMessage enable.

Hi all,


When trying to start the chat at the Wallet app, I keep getting this message: "iMessage needs to be enable to send this message". I have checked that iMessage is enabled. What am I missing?

Jeff, thanks for your support here. See responses:

  1. Do you use a VPN or ever had VPN software or profile installed? ==> No.
  2. How about antivirus or cleaner software? ==> No.
  3. Do you use Focus Modes? ==> Yes. I tried with and without, and several focus modus. Still, same result.
  4. Do you have any screen time limits set? ==> No.


I can add that it worked before I upgraded to the 17 Pro.
