Powerbeats pro 2 charging issue

My beats power Beats Pro 2 the left earpiece goes dead while in the case. I can put it in the case at 60% and if I go to use them the next day all is good and they are both 100%. If I wait 2 days between use the left will be at 1% and right at 100%. Case is fully charged. Once I open the case they both have the charging icon and the left will start to charge. I can close the case and open again and it’s still charging and will then charge to 100%. This seems to be happening when I leave them in the case and don’t open it for 2 or more days. I’ve taken all the steps I can think of, cleaned contacts, reset, repaired. I been had the left bud then the case replaced through apple care. So now I’m thinking it’s something else. Manufacture glitch maybe? I have a pair of Powerbeats pro 1 and never and still don’t have this issue.
