Logic Pro not recording synth audio from ZEDi10FX

Hi, I am having trouble recording my synth to Logic Pro via the Allen&Heath ZEDi10FX.

Previously, I’ve been able to just plug a cable from my synth (Nord Lead A1) into my ZEDi10FX, and then the interface is connected to my laptop via usb. There has never been issues with creating an audio track and recording the sound.

However, it is no longer working. I am able to record vocals through the interface no problem. I know the Nord is a midi controller, but also has analog capabilities. Wondering if this is a synth, audio interface, or DAW issue.

Any suggestions would be extremely helpful. Thank you!

Because you are "able to record vocals through the interface no problem", then this sounds to me like a levels issue in the synth>mixer>daw path.

If you can monitor the synth audio at a decent level with a headset in the mixer, and the output level at the meter looks okay, then the problem is downstream between the mixer and Logic Pro, maybe in the Logic Settings.

Check the input assignment of the recording track in Logic.

Also double check your settings in Logic Settings > Audio > Devices.

Important Note:

If there seems to be no audio transfer between the computer and your ZED, or the level is

very low, please check the volume level setting of the Audio Device in your computers’ op-

erating system. This may need to be set to the Max position.❞

This sounds like a simple routing mismatch or a specific "Input Monitoring" quirk that often happens after a Logic update or a setting change on the ZEDi mixer itself.

Since you confirmed that Vocals (Microphone) are working, we know the ZEDi10FX is successfully talking to your Mac and Logic is receiving audio. The issue is specifically isolating the Synth's channel in the signal chain.
